I have decided to retire from pecan scion collection and sales starting with the 2026 propagation season. In 2025, I established another 10 acres of pecan seedlings leaving me with little time for cutting, packaging, and shipping pecan scionwood.
I am sure this decision will disappoint several pecan growers around the country but at least the trees I have butchered annually for the past 8 years to produce scions will be free to grow to their full potential.
